Have You Thought About Living in One of the Beautiful Ukrainian Village Apartments in Chicago?
Imagine what it would be like to live in one of our fully rehabbed Ukrainian Village apartments. We have one-, two- or three-bedroom units available in this unique and diverse west side Chicago neighborhood. We know you’ll love your apartment, but what will you think of the area? This neighborhood has a family feel, with residents who go out of their way to chat with one another; visit the local establishments; relax in their backyard gardens; and stroll the quaint streets lined with mature trees, single-family homes, small cottages, large apartment buildings, and two- and three-bedroom flats.
Once an Eastern European immigrant enclave, traces of its past remain in the area’s many ornate and still-active churches, featured cuisine, annual heritage celebration, and historic single-family homes and streets within the Ukrainian Village Landmark District — and in the large Ukrainian population that still calls this area home. Streets are clean, property is well-kept and beautiful gardens abound. This peaceful neighborhood is surrounded by livelier areas like Wicker Park and Humboldt Park, so residents can soak up as much quiet or as much energy as they wish.
What Is There to Do Here?
While the old churches are still a vital part of the lives of many residents, redevelopment in recent years and the growing popularity of Ukrainian Village have catapulted this area onto the “hottest neighborhoods” list in Chicago today. Activities are plentiful when living in one of our apartments for rent in Ukrainian Village. Chicago puts you in the middle of a booming restaurant scene, especially along Chicago Avenue, while new retail shops and apartments are multiplying. Cool dance clubs such as the Empty Bottle and Dark Room attract bands from all over the U.S. and even internationally.
Neighbors and visitors mingle every year at the Ukrainian Village Fest, a celebration of the area’s old-world heritage centered around the churches that are so highly valued. Come to the party and enjoy the traditional foods, a lively beer garden, live music and games.
